NATIONAL LIBRARY SUBJECT HEADINGS AUTHORITY FILE
The database contains headings used in subject processing of documents at the National Library. It can be searched via one index: subject heading/subdivision (temat/okreslnik), containing all subject headings, subdivisions, see from tracings, and see also from tracings. Headings can be displayed in two formats. The first - labeled format - is similar to its presentation in the printed version entitled S³ownik jêzyka hase³ przedmiotowych Biblioteki Narodowej (National Library Subject Headings), where the acronim TS stands for the broader term, TW - for the narrower term, TK - for the related term, and NU - for not to be used term. The other one is MARC21 Format for Authority Data. The association of links between headings and tracings is provided for consultation in the OPAC of the main catalog database of the National Library in the INNOPAC system (http://www.bn.org.pl/).
